DR. AUDRA O'KEEFE
Dr. Audra O’Keefe was raised on a hobby beef farm in southwestern Missouri and quickly discovered she would rather care for the barn cats than the cattle. She attended both undergraduate and veterinary school at the University of Missouri and graduated with her doctorate in 2018. Following veterinary school, Dr. O’Keefe decided it was time to escape the humidity of the Midwest and move to Montana where she practiced as an emergency veterinarian at a 24-hour small animal emergency clinic, and then became the medical director of a small animal general practice.
After not seeing her immediate family for an extended period during the COVID pandemic, Dr. O’Keefe then departed Big Sky Country and moved back home to Missouri. She now enjoys working as a traveling relief veterinarian, giving the doctors at Fox Creek a much-needed break. While she is supporting the Fox Creek team, Dr. O’Keefe is excitedly anticipating the build out of her very own veterinary hospital in Bentonville, Arkansas, coming soon in 2024!
Dr. O’Keefe enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but especially loves caring for senior patients, making sure they’re comfortable and happy in their golden years, and doing complicated soft tissue surgeries. In her spare time, you can find Dr. O’Keefe spending time with her husband, son, three dogs, and two cats.
