Vaccines to Keep Your Pet Safe

We recommend a full wellness exam once a year for senior pets, along with blood work and a urinalysis to check how their organs are working. During your visit, our veterinarians will talk with you about things that may come up as your pet ages—like stiffness or limping, changes in breathing or behavior, special diet needs, skin problems, dental issues, or any new lumps or bumps you’ve noticed.

Microchipping
At Fox Creek Veterinary Hospital in Kirkwood, MO, we offer microchipping as a simple and safe way to help reunite lost pets with their families. The chip is very small—about the size of a grain of rice—and placing it under your pet’s skin is quick and no more uncomfortable than a routine vaccine.
Unlike collars or ID tags that can fall off or get lost, microchips stay with your pet for life and can’t be changed. Most animal shelters and vet clinics check for a microchip if a lost pet is brought in. If your contact information is up to date in the system, you’ll be contacted right away so your pet can be returned to you quickly.
