What AAHA Accreditation Means for Your Pet’s Health
Did you know that accreditation for animal hospitals is entirely voluntary? It’s surprising, but true. Nearly 60% of pet owners assume their veterinary hospital is accredited—when in fact, only 12–15% of animal hospitals have completed the rigorous evaluation process required by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA).
We’re proud to be among that small percentage. Earning AAHA accreditation means meeting strict standards in areas like patient care, safety, cleanliness, and medical protocols. It’s a demanding and time-intensive process, and not every hospital chooses to take it on. But for us, it’s part of our commitment to providing the highest level of care for your pets.

Accredited Care You Can Count On
AAHA accreditation means an animal hospital has been thoroughly evaluated on over 900 standards of veterinary excellence. To maintain this accreditation, hospitals must undergo a comprehensive review by veterinary experts every three years.
Unlike state and provincial regulations—which can vary significantly, and in some cases don't require regular inspections unless a complaint is filed—AAHA sets a consistent, high standard across all accredited hospitals. This standard doesn’t change based on location; AAHA accredits hospitals throughout both the U.S. and Canada. That’s why AAHA accreditation is widely recognized as the benchmark for veterinary excellence.
Passionate Care, Accredited Excellence
As an AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital, we hold ourselves to a higher standard of care. Pets are our passion, and their health is our top priority. Every day, we strive to provide exceptional care—because your pets deserve nothing less.
