What AAHA Accreditation Means for Your Pet’s Health

Did you know that accreditation for animal hospitals is entirely voluntary? It’s surprising, but true. Nearly 60% of pet owners assume their veterinary hospital is accredited—when in fact, only 12–15% of animal hospitals have completed the rigorous evaluation process required by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA).

We’re proud to be among that small percentage. Earning AAHA accreditation means meeting strict standards in areas like patient care, safety, cleanliness, and medical protocols. It’s a demanding and time-intensive process, and not every hospital chooses to take it on. But for us, it’s part of our commitment to providing the highest level of care for your pets.
