Why Accreditation Matters for Your Pet

Did you know that accreditation for animal hospitals is completely voluntary? It may come as a surprise, but nearly 60% of pet owners assume their veterinary hospital is accredited—when in fact, it’s not. Only about 12–15% of animal hospitals in the U.S. have successfully completed the thorough evaluation process required by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). We're proud to be among that select group. AAHA accreditation involves a rigorous and detailed review of our practices, and many hospitals choose not to undergo the process due to the high standards and time commitment involved.
